My philosophy, in life and at work, is to always do the best job possible – and to get it right the first time. I do that by making it a priority to understand you and your needs. By getting to know you as a person, not just as a client, I can ensure you get the home, or the sale, you deserve.
For more than four decades, I’ve helped people like you buy and sell homes. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor, I can promise you unparalleled service and expertise – delivered with honesty, integrity and transparency.
My Professional Background
I got my real estate licence in 1973, and practiced in Windsor, Ontario until 1982, when I moved with my family to Ottawa. I’ve been in the city ever since and have become an expert on the area. As an Orleans resident, I have a special focus on the east end.
I have been a RE/MAX agent since 1983, and am very proud to be part of Canada’s top real estate team.
On the Personal Side
In early 2015, I came out on the winning end of a battle with pancreatic cancer. The experience has given me a new lease on life (if you’ll pardon the real estate pun). I have a renewed focus and passion for what I want to do, in my work and my personal life.
I share a lovely home in Orleans with my wonderful wife – the mother of our three children. We also have a terrier mix named Bailey, who has us wrapped around her little paw. When I’m not helping people buy and sell homes, or taking care of my own, I spend my time swimming, golfing and tuning in to catch one of my many favourite sports teams in action.
A Strong Community Foundation
I believe in building strong communities. It’s one reason I’m committed to helping you find a home in the right community for you. It’s also why I walk each year in the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Weekend to End Breast Cancer. And why I donate a portion of each of my sales to breast cancer research and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. In addition, I’m a longstanding member of the Orleans Chamber of Commerce and a regular volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society.
People and communities matter to me. They always have. Now, having overcome cancer, I simply have a new energy and commitment to serving people the best way I know how – by being generous with my time and providing the very best real estate services in Ottawa.
