My Professional Background
I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. I received my real estate in 1973 and enjoyed a comfortable career until market conditions took a downturn. The predominate employers in the city were the big three auto makers. In the late 70’s there was a downturn in the auto sector which affected almost all employers in the city. Also it did not help that mortgage interest rates reached an unprecedented rate of 22%. This dried up almost all real estate activity in the city. So in 1982 I moved my family (wife and 3 small children) here to Ottawa. I began my career over again and in 1983 started working with RE/MAX and have not looked back. I am very proud to be part of the largest real estate company in Canada with over 21,000 agents. There are over 124,000 agents worldwide and we are located in 110+ companies.
